Swimming is so much fun, but drowning is a real danger. 1 out of 5 people that die from drowning are children 14 years old and younger. This is the second most common cause of death in this age group. 80% of drownings are male. Here are some basic tips to keep safe around water:

There's nothing like enjoying a cool popsicle on a warm day! Homemade popsicles are not only a healthier option than store-bought, but can also be a fun activity for your little ones. There are endless recipes online, but here is a simple one that my family enjoys.
Ingredients: 12 ounces plain Greek yogurt 2 cups diced strawberries (fresh if available) 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 teaspoon vanilla 1. Combine all ingredients in a blender until well combined. 2. Divide yogurt mixture evenly into popsicle molds. 3. Freeze for at least 4 hours or overnight. 4. ENJOY!
